They make sure their business values, services, products, processes and ideals are highlighted and use relevant images to appeal to the user. However, companies still wonder why there is a lack of traffic on their website and scarcity of business leads.

Capturing a hundred to a thousand visitors a month is not that hard and pretty achievable. Having a pretty looking website floating aimlessly in the abyss of the World Wide Web however, is not enough. Business’ need to creatively market their website to their target audience and be relevant and fun with their messages.

Blogs have become very popular throughout the last few years and the number of blogs that are published on the Internet each year continues to grow at an amazing speed. There are many elements moderators need to consider when blogging if they want to be successful both financially and socially:

-Refrain from making ‘Dear Diary’ entries; this is not what your clients want to hear from a business. Make sure all content is relevant, useful or entertaining to your audience.

-Consistency is Key. Updating your blog every new moon shows lack of commitment.

-Include inspiration, advice and significant examples to help your audience better understand your company’s process

-Incorporate appealing images and videos to illustrate concepts

-Instead of lengthy paragraphs use simple compelling statements to convey your message

-Ask yourself what is the single most valuable topic to your business and dedicate an entire blog post to conveying this

- Do not shy away from receiving comments on your posts. Feedback is the best method of self-improvement and client insight


Position yourself as the go-to person

-Raise positive perceptions for your website by being a true knowledge hub by updating content and keeping up with market trends. This will allow you to dominate a niche in the marketplace increasing credibility and fan loyalty

-Allow clients to gain access to some of the information free of charge. Website visitors appreciate this and will be more willing to pay for additional material at a later stage since they have attained a part of it earlier and know it is relevant to their requirement.

The easiest elements to share are videos, images, abstracts of essays, a template, tutorials etc.
